PRODUCING
Our aim is to produce high quality musicals and plays from the outset, whilst also developing new productions by acquiring the rights of properties with high brand currency.
In 2019, InTheatre will produce a new production of Grease with Curve Leicester, starring Peter Andre as Teen Angel. We are also developing two new musicals with three Brit and MTV Award-winning musicians.
GENERAL MANAGEMENT
We provide on-the-ground, day-to-day management of West End and touring productions, where budgets are created and closely monitored and communication to the Producers is clear and frequent.
InTheatre will general manage Grease and a new musical production of Back To The Future written by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale with music by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard.
INVESTMENT
Our aim is to take large and small units of investment in a variety of select high quality productions, as well as co-producing with other third party producers.
InTheatre is co-producing On Your Feet which opens at the London Coliseum in summer 2019 and an investor in Curious Incident Of The Dog in the Night-Time at the Piccadilly Theatre.
Colin Ingram
Producer and CEO
Olivier Award winning producer Colin Ingram has worked in the theatre industry for 27 years with some of the world’s leading producers, directors, designers and writers. He has worked nine years on Back to the Future –The Musical, developing, workshopping and producing it at Manchester Opera House and now at the Adelphi Theatre. The production won Best Musical in 2022 at the Olivier Awards, What’s On Stage Awards and Broadwayworld.com.
He thanks Glen Ballard for introducing him to 'the Bobs' and for them trusting him with the musical.
Colin acts as global producer on Ghost the Musical, which has been staged in 22 countries in 14 languages in over 30 productions. He lead-produced the musical in Manchester, London and Broadway where it was nominated for five Olivier Awards and three Tony Awards® and won Best Musical at the Manchester Theatre Awards.
He was Executive Producer of the Tony and Olivier-Award winning Billy Elliot the Musical in the West End and consulted on the Broadway and Australian productions.
He also lead-produced Breakfast at Tiffany's on Broadway and twice in the West End, and on the UK tour starring Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Anna Friel and Pixie Lott. It won a broadway.com award for Best Play.
He co-founded InTheatre Productions and lead-produces the new production of Grease which is playing at the Dominion Theatre this summer starring Jason Donovan and Peter Andre following two successful UK tours, and is producing a new musical based on The Time Traveller's Wife with music by Brit Award-winner Joss Stone and Grammy®-winner Dave Stewart from Eurythmics this September at the Chester Storyhouse prior to a West End transfer.
Prior to becoming an independent producer, Colin worked for Cameron Mackintosh for six years, general-managing Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Oklahoma! (starring Hugh Jackman), The Witches of Eastwick and the Les Misérables 10th Anniversary Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
He then joined Disney Theatrical Productions to be UK Managing Director overseeing the London office and the productions of The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and other shows in development. Colin then joined the Old Vic as Executive Producer and produced Hamlet starring Ben Whishaw, Aladdin starring Ian McKellen, Richard II, The Philadelphia Story and National Anthems.
He then produced the Billy Joel/Twyla Tharp musical Movin' Out in the West End, and co-produced Gone With the Wind directed by Trevor Nunn.
In 2016, Colin joined Madison Square Gardens Entertainment as Executive Vice President of Productions. At Radio City, he produced the New York Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes – a major undertaking involving over 350 cast, crew and musicians – and produced the 2016 Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes, achieving the highest revenue in its 85-year history. Colin was a non-Executive Director of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and proud founder of the Edinburgh University Footlights, now in its 30th year.
Peter Kane
Producer
Peter's previous theatre credits as a Co-Producer, includes a prior collaboration with Colin on Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's starring Anna Friel in 2009 (West End) and Pixie Lott in 2016 (West End and UK Tour) respectively.
Peter also enjoyed a lengthy association with the Old Vic Theatre and credits as investor include Billy Elliot (as well as West End, Australia & New York) Richard II, The Entertainer, Gaslight and Speed-the-Plow. Other theatre credits include Swimming with Sharks (Vaudeville), Desperately Seeking Susan (Novello), Gone with the Wind (New London Theatre) and Memphis (Shaftesbury).
Prior to forming InTheatre Productions with Colin, Peter founded and developed UK Mail, an intricate national network of postal depots, ensuring the company became one of the country's leading postal operators and was listed in the London stock exchange. Peter later sold the company to Deutsche Post DHL.
Phoebe Fairbrother
General Manager
Phoebe joined InTheatre Productions back in August 2018, after coming directly from a four-year stint at the Ambassador Theatre Group. There, she worked her way up from Intern, eventually graduating to the Production department, and going on to work as Production Assistant on a variety of shows, including King Lear (Duke of York's Theatre) with Ian McKellen, Glengarry Glen Ross (Playhouse Theatre) with Christian Slater and Oslo (National and Harold Pinter Theatre). Prior to this Phoebe worked at the Finborough Theatre and had a brief jaunt into the world of television post-production.
Matthew Green
General Manager
Matthew joined InTheatre Productions after several years working for Mark Rubinstein Ltd. Throughout his time at MRL he worked on a variety of West End and touring productions including Company (Gielgud Theatre), TINA - The Tina Turner Musical (Aldwych Theatre), SWEAT (Gielgud Theatre), Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (UK & Ireland Tour) and La Soirée (Aldwych Theatre & International Tour). Prior to his work at MRL he managed a number of productions as a freelance producer, including serving as Producer and Creative Consultant on the Greater Manchester Mayoral Assembly staged at The Lowry in 2017.
Alongside InTheatre, Matthew created Nicholson Green Productions (NGP) Ltd in 2021 to develop projects for UK touring and West End theatre. NGP's first production of Harry Hill and Steve Brown's TONY! [The Tony Blair Rock Opera] premiered at the Park Theatre in 2022 prior to a UK Tour in 2023 and earned critical acclaim for its 'colossally tasteless and highly entertaining' take on the story of Britain's first pop Prime Minister.
Matthew has also recently served on the SOLT BECTU Negotiating Committee and is proud to be a Stage One mentor.
Before his time in production, Matthew nearly made the mistake of becoming a lawyer after earning his LLB (Hons) Law Degree from Durham University. He was also a NODA and D'Oscar nominated performer, but thankfully swapped his tap shoes for spreadsheets.
Felicity Caffyn
Deputy General Manager
Felicity joined InTheatre Productions after six years at Nick Grace Management Ltd. where she started working as a Production Assistant across large scale international touring shows such as MAMMA MIA!, WICKED and Walking with Dinosaurs, moving up to Production Co-Ordinator on MAMMA MIA! (UK & International Tour). Prior to this she has worked in event management on the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and Hampton Court Music Festival.
Simon Delany
Global Marketing Director
Delany began his career in 2000 as Sponsorship Manager/Executive at Virgin Radio. He moved to AKA Promotions in 2003 as Account Director/Manager, including Account Director for the opening and first year of Billy Elliot the Musical. After three years there, he spent a year as Account Director at Target Media, leading on complete communications, marketing strategy, creative solutions and media planning and buying for play.com and many film & DVD distributors including Momentum Pictures, Optimum Releasing and Icon Entertainment. He played an instrumental role in setting up Target Live, a full-service agency for the arts and entertainment business that incorporated touring marketing agency Guy Chapman Associates. As Head of Marketing, he had overall responsibility for a team of Account Managers and Media buyers, as well as Account Direction across key clients such as Bill Kenwright Ltd, Sonia Friedman Productions and Mark Goucher Ltd.
In 2008, Simon returned to AKA Promotions as Client Services Director, where he was responsible for the overall campaign management and strategy across a number of West End productions and theatres. Key clients included Billy Elliot the Musical (producer Working Title), Jersey Boys (producer Dodger Theatricals), Rock of Ages (producer S2BN), Jerusalem (producer Sonia Friedman) and The Railway Children (producer TTC). He became a Director of AKA Promotions and Head of Client Services in 2013, leading a 35-strong team of Account Directors, Managers and Executives who managed the marketing and sales strategy of West End productions, theatres, heritage organisations and London museums & galleries. In addition to his management responsibilities, he was also the Account Director for several projects, including Glengarry Glen Ross (producers ATG), Pretty Woman The Musical (producers ATG & Paula Wagner), 9 to 5 The Musical (producers ATG & Dolly Parton), School of Rock (producer Really Useful Group), Billy Elliot The Musical (producer Working Title Films), Funny Girl (producer Sonia Friedman), Jersey Boys (producer Dodger Theatricals) and the Museum of London.
In 2020, Delany became Group Director of Marketing for Hartshorn – Hook Enterprises/Immersive Everywhere Productions, overseeing the marketing and communications strategy for all the companies and productions in the HHE portfolio, which included Immersive Everywhere, the producers of the BBC licensed immersive adventure Doctor Who Time Fracture, The Great Gatsby (London), Amelie the Musical and hospitality venues The Farrier pub in Camden and The Lucky Club cocktail bar in Mayfair. He was responsible for the marketing and communications strategy for HHE / IE productions being developed in new territories, including launching The Great Gatsby in New York, Paris, Beijing and Berlin. He also developed and implemented the launch and communications strategy for new theatrical experiences in development, working in partnership with major entertainment brands such as the BBC, Paramount Pictures and MGM films.
Lottie Bauer
Production Coordinator
Lottie joined InTheatre Productions after working as a Production Assistant on The Prince of Egypt (Dominion Theatre) at Neil Laidlaw Productions.
Before that she worked as an Assistant Producer at Seabright Productions through the Stage One’s Trainee Producer Placement scheme. There she worked on a variety of West End, Off-West End and touring shows including Adam Kay: This is Going to Hurt (West End, UK Tour, Edinburgh Fringe 2019), Adam Kay: Twas The Nightshift Before Christmas (UK Tour), Potted Panto (Southwark Playhouse), Trainspotting Live (UK Tour, Edinburgh Fringe 2019), An Act Of God (The Vaults) and Iain Dale: All Talk (Edinburgh Fringe 2019, UK Tour).
Lottie’s Off-West End experience includes working at Kiln Theatre, Finborough Theatre and VAULT Festival. She also produced her own show at the Camden People’s Theatre as part of the Camden Fringe Festival.
Before her time in theatre, Lottie studied at the University of York and graduated with a degree in Economics (BSc).
Daisy Edmondson
UK Marketing Director
Daisy began her career working as intern for Act Productions in 2009, once graduating from the University of Exeter with a degree in Classical Studies & Italian, she return to Act full time as an Administrative Assistant.
In 2011, she joined the team at Colin Ingram Ltd for the first time as a Production Assistant on Ghost The Musical in London and on Broadway.
After a foray into the world of production, Daisy started her theatrical marketing career at AKA Promotions Ltd in 2012 initially as an Account Executive before being promoted to Account Manager. Throughout her time at AKA, Daisy working across many productions including: School of Rock (New London Theatre); Jersey Boys (Piccadilly Theatre); Shakespeare in Love (Noel Coward Theatre); Bend It Like Beckham The Musical (Phoenix Theatre) and Show Boat (New London Theatre).
In 2017, Daisy was offered the opportunity to return to theatre production and took up a manager role at Disney Theatrical Productions, where she oversaw the day to day management of Disney's Aladdin at the Prince Edward Theatre.
Having decided that marketing was really where she wanted to hang her theatrical hat once and for all, Daisy returned to AKA Promotions in 2019 as an Account Manager looking after Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Palace Theatre); Pretty Woman The Musical (Piccadilly Theatre) and Touching The Void (Duke of York's Theatre).
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2021 Daisy joined the team of ABBA Voyage, initially as Marketing Manager and going on to become Associate Marketing Director. Here she was part of the original team instrumental in creating and executing the concert's global launch, on sale and opening strategy.
James Evan-Jones
Production Assistant
James joined InTheatre Productions after working as an Office Assistant at Kenny Wax Productions.
During his time at Kenny Wax Productions he assisted the team on West End shows including SIX, The Play That Goes Wrong and Why Am I So Single?. He also worked with the team on a number of touring productions including Peter Pan Goes Wrong UK Tour, Mind Mangler and Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World.
Prior to this, JJ studied at the Arts Educational School London and graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre.
